Where Talent Meets Creativity.

About Us

Founder and CEO Welcoming Remarks:

Dear Partners, and Students, I’m thrilled to welcome you to the POJAFS Training Institute for Youth Employability. A sister institution of Gambian Talents Promotion—where talents meet creativity—our mission is to tap into, nurture, and promote the diverse talents and cultures of The Gambia, particularly through the power of the internet. We aim to inform, educate, and entertain Gambians while supporting government and private sector development initiatives. Proudly, we are registered in both The Gambia and the United States.

For over 12 years, we have worked in partnership with organizations, individuals, companies, and promoters worldwide to provide platforms for Gambian talents to shine on the global stage. Many Gambian musicians, for example, have performed abroad in countries such as the US, UK, and Scandinavia, thanks to these efforts. In 2008, we launched the first-ever Gambian Talents Award, honoring exceptional Gambians in 18 categories, including music, sports, literature, fine art, and media.

What began as a talent and culture promotion initiative has evolved into a comprehensive online public broadcasting network. Today, our mandate is to educate, inform, and entertain Gambians both at home and abroad. The growing quality of our programs, news, and activities has propelled our reach. On Facebook alone, we have approximately 330,000 followers, with weekly engagement ranging between 250,000 and 1 million.

Sixty percent of our followers are Gambians and friends of The Gambia in the diaspora, while the remaining 40% reside within The Gambia. This ratio is rapidly shifting as improved internet access and a new political climate encourage more Gambians at home to engage with online media. To support this growth, we have opened a new office and studio in The Gambia, strengthening our connection with communities at the grassroots level.

About Us

The POJAFS Training Institute for Youth Employability aims to identify, nurture, and promote Gambian talent while complementing government and private sector development initiatives through new media, arts, and cultural orientation. We are committed to fostering democracy, respect for human rights, and the rule of law.

The POJAFS Training Institute for Youth Employability supports the use of media and the arts as tools for social transformation. We provide training and employment opportunities for young people, encouraging them to steer clear of violence, criminal activities, and illegal migration. Additionally, we assist local communities in accessing information and communication technologies.

Our mission is to promote peace, love, and unity among Gambians while discouraging tribalism, nepotism, and religious intolerance in The Gambia. At POJAFS Training Institute for Youth Employability, where talent meets creativity, we strive to showcase and nurture various talents from The Gambia, while also educating and entertaining the public through these abilities.
